Metrics and Targets
Greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions are the primary driver of the climate emergency, and corporate GHG management is one of the key issues of concern to stakeholders. Since 2023, the Company has established a standardized GHG inventory mechanism based on the GHG Protocol developed by the World Resources Institute (WRI) and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), as well as the GHG verification guidelines issued by Taiwan’s Environmental Protection Administration (EPA), Executive Yuan. Each year, the Company conducts a GHG inventory of Scope 1 to Scope 3 emissions across all sites of the Group, ensuring that its disclosures comply with both international initiatives and domestic regulatory requirements.
The 2025 Scope 1 to Scope 3 GHG inventory results have been subject to limited assurance by Crowe (TW) CPAs, which issued a limited assurance report in accordance with Taiwan Standard on Assurance Engagements No. 3410 (TWSAE 3410).

Note 1: Based on emissions statistics for 2023 and 2025.
Note 2: GHG emissions intensity = Total emissions (tCO2e) / million of revenue. Revenue is taken from the consolidated statement of comprehensive income in the Annual Report.
Note 3: Scope 3 emissions were not inventoried in 2023; therefore, no data is available for that year.
Note 4: The 2023 inventory boundary covered the Taipei Operational Headquarters, Taipei Plant, Mainland China Plant, and Japan Office. The 2024–2025 inventory boundary covers the entire Arizon Group, including the Taipei Operational Headquarters, Taipei Plant, Arizon China, Arizon Japan, Arizon USA, and Arizon Vietnam.
Note 5: Data source: Energy Administration, Ministry of Economic Affairs website (

Note 6: The 2024 Scope 3 and total emissions have been substantially revised downward from the previous year’s report, mainly because historical data were restated following third-party assurance. After the restatement, 2024 Scope 3 GHG emissions are 28,680.01 tCO2e, and total Scope 1–3 emissions are 34,408.80 tCO2e.
The Company’s GHG emissions within the assurance scope for the period from January 1 to December 31, 2024 are as follows:

The Company adopts the operational control approach to define its GHG organizational boundary, which covers the parent company and its subsidiaries. Under the operational control approach, the Company accounts for 100% of the GHG emissions from operations that it owns and controls.
Emissions Reduction Measures
To achieve its reduction targets, the Company regularly monitors and tracks reduction progress through its Sustainable Development Committee. In addition to continuously strengthening energy-saving and carbon-reduction performance in its manufacturing processes, the Company actively invests in renewable energy generation, including the installation of solar panels, to enhance its overall decarbonization results through multiple approaches. The Company also applies a product life-cycle perspective to reduce carbon emissions across material design and selection, local sourcing from suppliers, energy-efficient production, and green transportation. It will continue to negotiate renewable energy purchases to achieve each stage of its decarbonization targets. As a result of these efforts, the Company’s 2025 Scope 1 and Scope 2 (market-based) emissions decreased by 3.2% compared with the base year.
Environmental Initiatives
Arizon RFID Technology (“Arizon”) began pursuing science-based emissions reduction targets in 2025, and its targets were validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) in June 2026. Arizon commits to reduce absolute Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions by 63.0% by 2035 from a 2024 base year. Arizon also commits to reduce the GHG emissions intensity of Scope 3 purchased goods and services by 66.33% per New Taiwan Dollar (NTD) of value added within the same timeframe.
Looking ahead, Arizon will continue to refine its sustainability management in line with international standards and carry out its emissions reduction measures. It will also deepen collaboration across its supply chain, taking concrete action to fulfill its corporate social responsibility and to create lasting value for global sustainability and the RFID industry.
